It’s hard to believe, but Christmas is only 100 days away! Before you know it, department stores will be airing commercials with jingle bells and snow, and your inbox will be chiming with all of the huge sales going on.

This year, people will be doing even more of their shopping online, so it is imperative that your website and social media feeds are prepared. Don’t worry though- we’ve compiled a to-do list of sorts to make sure you don’t leave anything undone.

*Go over all copy. Make sure that all headings have strong keywords and that everything is spelled correctly. This Beginner’s Guide to Yoast SEO is helpful.

*Look closely at your product photos. Do they reflect your current branding and aesthetic?

*Look to magazines and large retailers to schedule your promotions. If Target is running holiday promos, your brand should be too.

*Set up Instagram/Facebook shops so that your followers can purchase directly from your social media posts.

*Run a speed test on your website to make sure it’s running correctly.

*Optimize your website for mobile.

*Don’t neglect your online reputation, especially before holiday shopping season. Reply to all comments, good and bad. Also, if you have loyal regular customers, don’t be afraid to ask for a review. Chances are, they’d be happy to leave some kind words.

If you’re ready to get to work on your site in time for the holiday season, and you’d like an extra set of eyes, ears, and hands, contact us. Your success is our success!
